Barack Obama does yet another stunt when he decides to visit the England Queen and give her an IPod as a...sign of appreciation. We all know that Obama is a self-conscious man that doesn't care about conservatory opinions and wants to be as unconventional as possible, because this is what won him the elections, but giving an ipod during an official meeting with the Queen seemed like a totally inappropriate gesture for American press writers. The materials on the ipod were nice though, containing also some footage of her visiting the USA two years ago.

According to White House sources, he also gave the Queen a rare edition of a musical book belonging to Richard Rodgers. The Queen had a gift prepared for herself, and she gave the presidential couple a photo signed by her and Prince Philip, in a silver frame, witch is in fact nothing special, just a standard gift she makes to all foreign officials.

Since Obama went through all that trouble coming up with a surprising and daring gift for her, he must of felt pretty bad when he only received something that plain and common. But, as always, he walked out of there with a big smile, regardless of the situation he's put himself in.

The American press claims this is the second inappropriate present Obama gives. A few weeks ago he gave to another Britain official, Gordon Brown, a set of 25 classic movies on DVD. Nice present, but too bad they were only fit for American video systems and don't really work well on European players. Let's only hope that Obama remembered to include an battery, so that the Queen doesn't have to go out and buy one herself if she wants to listen to anything on the device.

Even if Barack seems so unconventional and the Queen is the most conservatory person on Earth, it seems that the two were really getting along during the meeting. And British sources reveal interesting news which lets us know that the Queen already had an Ipod, given to her years ago, with classic songs on it. So, after all, the Queen of England isn't such an un-introduced to technology person, and she actually enjoys finding out once in a while about new releases and such things.
